I have had a couple great trips this week. No we did not fish in the downpour on Monday.
Sunday was cloudy, hot, humid but our plan was to set for Salmon first thing, Boom, it took a while but we did land a nice king salmon. Great, love when a plan comes together. Saw a little rap on a copper and caught another salmon. Two kings before 8:3o.
Stayed on the plan for a while and had several other hits. Because of the nature of the strikes, I feel at least two of the strikes were salmon. Rest of the morning we landed three trout but had several others on.
On to today. Beautiful morning, light winds a few clouds. I had to go back to the plan and we did.
We were 0 for 4 but these were definite salmon and really perked our interest. Then a nice salmon hit our deep downrigger and gave us quite a fight for its size. It ended up in the net and on ice. Stayed on the plan and the final count for today was two salmon and four trout. The biggest trout was fourteen pounds.
The weather forecast for the rest of the week is great. Give us a call and LETS GO FISHING
